Privacy Policy

Last updated October 7, 2026

Marmle (“Marmle”, “we”, “us”) is a product of Jolt Labs, a trade name owned by Ansh Dubey and registered as a sole proprietorship in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what we collect when you use the website at marmle.com, Marmle meetings, Marmle Notes, the Marmle agent and anything related (together, the “Services”), why we collect it, who helps us run the Services, and the choices you have.

It covers people with a Marmle account (“members”), people who join a meeting from a link without an account (“guests”), and visitors to the website. By using the Services you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

The short version

  • We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
  • We do not train AI models on your meetings, recordings or content.
  • Notes are seen by your team and the people who were in the meeting, and you can make them private.
  • The agent never sends, posts, pays or changes anything in your name until you approve it.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it, at any time.

1. What we collect

1.1 Your account

Your name, email address, a password (stored only as a one-way hash) or the identifiers Google returns if you sign in with Google, a profile picture if you add one, your time zone, the teams you belong to and the invitations you send or receive.

1.2 Guests

The name a guest types to join, the audio, video, screen and chat they share in the meeting, and the technical details needed to connect them. Guests do not need an account and we do not ask them for an email address.

1.3 Meetings and recordings

Live audio, video and screen shares travel through our real-time media servers so the people in the meeting can see and hear each other. Background blur and other camera effects run in your browser, on your device.

When a meeting is recorded, we keep each person’s audio, the meeting video, screen shares and chat, and we produce a transcript, a summary, decisions and action items from them. We also keep the meeting’s details: its title, time, host, invitees (names and email addresses) and who attended.

1.4 The agent and the tools you connect

When you use the Marmle agent we keep your conversations with it, the tasks it drafts, the bots (scheduled jobs) and preferences you set, and a record of what it proposed and what you approved.

If you connect a tool such as your email, calendar, CRM or notes app, you sign in to that tool directly and choose what to allow. The access it grants is held by our connection provider (see section 5.2) and is never shown to an AI model. The agent reads from a connected tool only to do what you ask, or what a bot you set up was made to do, and it acts in that tool (sends, creates, updates) only after you approve.

When you ask the agent to do something on the web, it uses a cloud web browser to visit the pages the task needs. What it reads there may be kept as part of the task.

1.5 Usage and technical data

IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, timestamps, error reports and server logs. We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect the Services. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.

1.6 Messages

What you send us when you write to us, and the emails we send you.

2. How we use it

  • To run the Services: hold meetings, record them, write notes and run the agent;
  • To send the emails the Services need, such as sign-in codes, invitations and meeting notes;
  • To keep accounts and meetings secure and to prevent fraud, spam and abuse;
  • To answer you when you ask for help;
  • To understand and improve the Services, using usage information that is aggregated or does not identify you;
  • To bill paid plans, when they are offered;
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We use your information only for the purposes in this policy, or for a new purpose you agree to.

3. Recording and consent

The host decides whether a meeting is recorded and can turn recording off. In Canada a recording of a person is personal information, so if you host a recorded meeting you are responsible for telling the people in it and getting their consent where the law requires it. If you do not want to be recorded, ask the host to turn recording off, or leave the meeting.

We do not create voiceprints or face prints. Marmle knows who said what because each person’s audio arrives on its own track, not by identifying voices.

4. AI processing

Transcripts, notes and the agent’s work are produced by AI models. Some run on Cloudflare; others are reached through Vercel’s AI Gateway from model providers including Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, TypeSafe and xAI (speech to text runs on Microsoft’s and xAI’s models through the same gateway, with Cloudflare’s Whisper as the fallback). Each receives only what its task needs, for example one speaker’s audio chunk or part of a transcript.

We do not authorize these providers to use your content to train their models, and we do not use your content to train our own. AI can make mistakes; notes link their quotes back to the moment in the recording so you can check them.

5. Who we share it with

5.1 People you choose

Meeting notes are visible to your team and to the members who attended the meeting. You can make them private to you, or turn on a link that lets anyone who has it read them. If you send the notes email, the people you send it to receive the notes.

5.2 Service providers

A small number of companies help us run the Services. They process data only to provide their service to us:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, database, file storage (including recordings and notes), real-time audio and video, speech-to-text and some AI models, and the cloud browser that records meetings;
  • Vercel (AI Gateway): routes AI requests to the model providers named in section 4;
  • Resend: sends our email;
  • Google: Sign in with Google, if you use it;
  • Composio: connects the tools you link to the agent and holds the access they grant;
  • Browser Use: the cloud web browser the agent uses for tasks on the web;
  • Marmle for Chrome (our own browser extension, if you install it): lets the agent work in your own Chrome instead, in a Marmle tab group. It keeps a pairing token for your account on your computer, opens one connection to your agent, and acts only in the tabs it opened for you; it reads no other tab, no cookies and no browsing history, and sends nothing anywhere but your agent;
  • Firecrawl: web search and page reading for the agent.

5.3 Tools you connect

When you approve an action, the data it needs goes to that tool: an email you approve is sent through your email account, for example. Each tool handles that data under its own privacy policy.

5.4 The law

We may disclose information when the law requires it or in response to valid legal process, including under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (“PIPA”).

5.5 If the business changes hands

If Jolt Labs is part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred with it. We will tell you by email or on the website before it becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Where your data is stored

Jolt Labs is based in British Columbia, Canada. Our service providers store and process data in Canada, the United States and other countries where they operate. While it is there, it is subject to those countries’ laws and may be accessible to their courts and authorities.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account information: for as long as your account is open.
  • Recordings, transcripts and notes: until you delete them. Deleted notes wait in the trash for 30 days, then they and their recording are erased for good.
  • Agent conversations, bots and connections: until you delete them or disconnect the tool.
  • Sign-in sessions: 30 days.
  • Logs: only as long as we need them to run and secure the Services.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep by law. Copies in backups are erased as the backups rotate.

8. Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS, and DTLS-SRTP for meeting audio and video), and our providers encrypt stored data. Access is limited to the people who need it, and the credentials for your connected tools are never shown to an AI model.

Meetings are not end-to-end encrypted, because writing notes means our servers have to process the recording. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, get a copy of it, delete it, or withdraw a consent you gave. Email hello@marmle.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

10. Children

Marmle is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will tell you about material changes by email or on the website before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
